Understanding that business owners can be reached on Facebook and LinkedIn we began our focus on LinkedIn whilst building assets for the new event website that included paid advertising.
First, Mark needed to build a larger audience on LinkedIn before creating awareness of his brand. A LinkedIn message campaign was launched immediately that would connect with local Business owners who received a value driven message inviting them to a free strategy call to help them with their business issues.
People who started a conversation with Mark on LinkedIn were guided to book a strategy call using a self service booking software that looks professional and saved countless hours in the long run.
Once the event site was up and running, the strategy was to collect all the new connection emails from LinkedIn. We supplied facebook with this data in order to advertise to this highly targeted audience. This data was also used to find more business owners using facebooks powerful Look A Like Audience algorithm. Interest targeting and retargeting was used to find more business owners.
These ads drove cold traffic into the funnel to make an application, book a discovery call and make a purchase to the event using marketing fundamentals and automation at its heart.
